Hold the barrel with one hand and the ribbed section near the tip with the other – then gently pull them apart (a short tug is sufficient). Unscrew the refill. Unscrew the old refill counter-clockwise. Insert new refill. Screw in the replacement refill finger-tight. Reassemble. Firmly push both parts of the pen back together. Done! Your WORK TOOL 8-in-1 Ballpoint Pen is ready to use again.
